What is Wikicamp?

Wikicamp is all about wikis. Jokes apart, wikicamp, is a one day event aimed to bring together the minds behind the latest revolution in the world of Internet, namely the wiki. User generated content and collaborative knowledge sharing have become the keywords of today's Internet, Wikicamp aims at demystifying these terms. The event will feature workshops, debates and keynotes on what wikis were, what they are and what they will become in the future.

Where is the event going to take place?

The event is scheduled for the 25th of February, and will take place at the tidel park, in Chennai.

Who is organizing the event?

Everyone is. Wikicamp runs as an unconference, where everyone is an organizer and there is no participant. How ever the initial coordination is being done by The Knowledge Foundation,Chennai, the same organization which was responsible for events such as Barcamp Chennai, Blogcamp( http://blogcamp.in ) and Proto ( http://proto.in ) .
