About The Event

What is Wikicamp?

Wikicamp is all about harnessing and understanding the power of Wikis. It is a one day event aimed to bring together the best minds in technology.

User generated content and collaborative knowledge sharing have become the keywords of today's Internet; Wikicamp aims at demystifying these terms. The event will feature workshops, debates and keynotes on the present state and evolution of the wiki.

Where is the event going to take place?

The event is scheduled for the 25th of February, and will take place at the Tidel Park, in Chennai.

Who is organizing the event?

Everyone is. Wikicamp runs as an unconference, where everyone is an organizer and there is no participant. However, the initial co-ordination is being done by The Knowledge Foundation, the same organization which was responsible for events such as Barcamp Chennai, Blogcamp and Proto .
